I think the term, brown noser, is one of the strangest sayings there are. It suggests that someone physically squeezed their nose, through the butt cheeks, and directly onto the uncleaned anus, of some super gross higher up, for an opportunity to advance in their particular hierarchy? This involved two willing participants…..I’d like to think they got the job.
